Flowers are always the perfect subject for photographs and pushing the photographic image to its painterly limits. I took the original photograph in the Allied Arts Guild parking lot several years ago, and it's been manipulated and transformed many times. This piece with the rosebud peeking out from under a full-blown rose is one of my favorites.
